French Club

When you smell fresh croissants and you see the Eiffel Tower, you know where you are: Paris. The French Club focuses on all things French. French food, French movies, French people, and the language of course. French teacher Albert Ament is running this club and would invite anyone to join.

Ament says, “The French Club is for any student. You don’t have to be a French student, you don’t have to be a language student - just someone who is interested in maybe learning about French, French culture, or French things, and it’s open to kids of every grade.”

This club takes place in room C201, at the end of the language hallway. Ament is still deciding when to start the club.

Joining a club looks good on college applications because colleges love to see that you have some extracurricular activities, and not just school. The French Club is all about just hanging out and having fun while getting a little exposed to French culture and the French language. There are a lot of different clubs out there, but if you just want to hang out with friends and learn a little French while watching a French movie, and eating a warm croissants then you should come join the French Club. If you have any more questions you can email Ament at AJAment@fcps.edu.
